A Multi-Function School Activity Bus (MFSAB) is a vehicle that meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for a school bus. An MFSAB is not painted yellow, does not have stop lights or a stop arm. They are used most often for transporting children safely. MFSAB vehicles have been designed to provide enhanced rollover protection, higher backed padded seats with stronger seat mounts that have proven to reduce significantly injuries and fatalities in the event of a traffic accident.
